Florida Republican C.W. Bill Young is flat wrong
Representative Young's wife Beverly was asked to leave the State of the Union address for wearing a T-shirt that said "Support the Troops Defending Our Freedom".
The Congressman is just plain wrong. The same rule that led to Cindy Sheehan being escorted out applies equally to Beverly Young.
**UPDATE** Michelle Malkin has more information here. It seems that this falls under Title 40-Public Buildings; Section 5104-Unlawful Activities. It also appears that both were either rightfully or wrongfully removed from the gallery. If they were left in their seats, does anyone want to bet which would have become disruptive?
"I just called for the Chief of Police and told him to get his little tail over here," Young said "This is unacceptable."
